We are now taking bookings for our 2011 season and are pleased to announce that we are holding our 2010 Euro rates for 2011.This is the third year we have held our rates, meaning they are the same now as in 2008!
Our sterling exchange rate is currently shown at an equivalent of £1=1.18€, giving a much better rate for our valued British clients!
What's more, we are happy to continue our popular 'exchange rate safeguard' where the pound rate we quote you at the time of your booking will be 'capped', which means it will be the MAXIMUM pound rate you pay - even if the situation gets worse! But, should the exchange rate improve significantly by the time your balance payment becomes due WE WILL REBATE YOU THE DIFFERENCE*! This is our pledge to ensure your holiday accommodation cost is not penalised by the money markets - we can't be fairer than that!
*The difference between the capped exchange rate shown on your booking acknowledgement and the average HIFX currency exchange rate (NOT the interbank rate) that we can achieve at the time of your balance payment reminder (9 weeks before the commencement of your holiday).
RYANAIR ANNOUNCE NEW ROUTES TO CARCASSONNE
Budget airline operator Ryanair announces that GLASGOW (PRESTWICK) and LEEDS airports will commence flying direct into Carcassonne airport (nearest to us) from 28th March 2010. These additions, along with with the established routes of London Stanstead, Liverpool, East Midlands (Nottingham), Dublin, Cork and Charleroi (Brussels), now make 8 routes in total flying direct to Carcassonne.
LOW & MEDIUM SEASON SHORT TERM LETTING
Due to popular demand we have now relaxed our minimum 7 night stay period outside of Peak and High seasons. We now accommodate a minimum stay of 3 nights during Medium (April, May and October) and Low season (November through to end of March). We will be operating 2 'per night ' tariffs; Long weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights) and Midweek (rest of week). The period of stay can be anytime, providing fully flexible changeovers, with the differing 'per night' rate applying to whichever 'nights' of week that you stay. This will enable our clients to enjoy the facilities at Domaine de Barthe and also take advantage of the many low cost deals offered by the budget airlines.
